All photographs, images, videos, and other visual content displayed on this website are the intellectual property of Carlos Reina Silvestre trading as Carlos Reina Photography, unless otherwise stated.
No image or content from this website may be downloaded, copied, reproduced, edited, distributed, sold, published, or used in any way without prior written permission, except where the image has been purchased or provided as a free authorised download through this website.
Copyright Ownership
Copyright in all photographs remains with Carlos Reina Silvestre / Carlos Reina Photography at all times, unless a separate written agreement confirms otherwise.
Purchasing or downloading an image does not transfer copyright ownership. Instead, the customer receives a licence to use the image under the terms stated below.
Personal Use Licence
Images purchased or downloaded from private galleries, event galleries, dance shows, sports events, school-related sessions, family sessions, or similar galleries are licensed for personal use only, unless otherwise agreed in writing.
Personal use includes:
- Downloading the purchased image for personal keeping.
- Printing the image for personal display.
- Sharing the image with family and friends.
- Posting the image on personal social media accounts.
Personal use does not include:
- Commercial use.
- Advertising or promotion of a business, brand, product, service, event, or organisation.
- Sale or resale of the image.
- Entering the image into commercial competitions.
- Supplying the image to newspapers, magazines, agencies, sponsors, or third parties.
- Editing the image in a misleading, offensive, defamatory, unlawful, or damaging way.
Commercial, editorial, press, promotional, or business use requires prior written permission and may require a separate licence fee.
Free Downloads
Where images are provided as free downloads, they are still protected by copyright. Free download does not mean copyright-free.
Free downloaded images may only be used in accordance with the licence attached to the relevant gallery, campaign, event, or agreement.
Screenshot and Unauthorised Use
Screenshots, screen recordings, copying, downloading without payment, removing watermarks, bypassing gallery protection, or otherwise attempting to obtain images without authorisation is strictly prohibited.
Where screenshot protection or gallery security is in place, access may be restricted, suspended, or removed if unauthorised activity is detected.
Restricted Uses
Images must not be used:
- In any unlawful, pornographic, defamatory, abusive, discriminatory, or harmful manner.
- In a way that falsely suggests endorsement by Carlos Reina Photography or by any person shown in the image.
- As part of a logo, trademark, business identity, or branding without written permission.
- In connection with goods or products for resale without an extended commercial licence.
- In a way that allows others to download, extract, copy, or redistribute the image as a standalone file.
- In a way that misrepresents the original authorship of the image.
Commercial Photography Clients
For commercial photography projects, usage rights will be agreed separately in the relevant quote, invoice, contract, or written agreement. Unless stated otherwise, copyright remains with Carlos Reina Silvestre / Carlos Reina Photography.
